Paintings

In addition to jewellery, I create paintings with flowers.The paintings are the most vivid expression of my creativity and through the language of flowers I try to interpret  my colorful inner world. I use handmade or antique paper of various sizes and natural colors such as the yellow of saffron, the red of Montepulciano wine, the brown of coffee and tea. I love collecting rainwater which I use to dilute the pigments and to transport the Tuscan sky onto the paper. The flowers I depict are those that I have seen since I was a child in the countryside and that I love to place in painted terracotta vases, according to the tradition of my land. To enrich the compositions I often add gold leaf which gives a particular light to the whole and which makes my paintings special and unique.

Some of the flowers I depict and their meaning in my art:

 

Peony - flower of femininity connected to the figure of the mother and     grandmother.

 

Sunflower - flower of pure joy, be happy like a child.

 

Poppy - flower of inner strength and individual growth.

 

Forget me not - flower of memory, the memories and people from the past who have positively influenced our lives.

 

Tulip - flower of energy and love.

If you already have an idea, also send me a photo of the place where you would like to place it. I will send you my idea and then once finished I will send you the painting. In a few days you will receive it at home, anywhere in the world.
